What happens to what you type

The agent

Your question, and the previous question and answer for context, are sent to an AI model to write the answer: Groq (openai/gpt-oss-20b) and, if Groq is busy, Google Gemini. Their own privacy policies cover what they do with requests. Don't type anything you'd want kept private.

Answers to common questions are kept for up to a day so the next person asking gets them instantly. They're filed under a scrambled fingerprint of the question, not under you.

Match a job post

A pasted job post is sent to the same AI models to list what it asks for, and the result is scored on the site. The job post itself is not stored. The scorecard is saved for 90 days so it can be shared by link; anyone with the link can see it.

Limits and abuse protection

To stop one person or script using up the agent, the site counts requests per visitor using a one-way scrambled form of your IP address (it can't be turned back into the address). Counts expire within a day. Vercel, which hosts the site, also checks requests for bots and keeps standard server logs.

Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and loading speed without cookies and without identifying you.

On your device

Your browser remembers which project cards you've opened (and whether you unlocked the hidden card) and whether you've seen the intro this visit. That stays on your device; clearing site data removes it.

Questions or removal

Email hello@sohaibalikhan.com, for example to have a shared job match deleted before it expires. Mail to that address is forwarded to Sohaib's own inbox by Cloudflare Email Routing, which doesn't keep a copy.
